Dollar Bail Brigade Meet-Up

Join the Robert F. Kennedy Young Leaders and the Bronx Freedom Fund for a night of education, socializing and sign-ups for the Dollar Bail Brigade. The Dollar Bail Brigade is a coalition of volunteers who sign up for on-call times to pay other people's bail, when that bail is set at one dollar. This is a fantastic action that we can all take to fight the racist injustice of mass incarceration, and help individual New Yorkers gain their (rightful) freedom. This event is also an opportunity for veteran members of Dollar Bail Brigade to meet one another, share stories, and foster in-person community!

Currently, Dollar Bail Brigade has 600 members, who have collectively posted 100 individual dollar bails! Let's grow those numbers until we have full shift calendars every month!
