Volunteer Opportunity with the Young Women's Leadership School of Queens
Time & Location
About The Event
The Student Leadership Network’s Cool Women, Hot Jobs program – and yes, despite the name, they encourage volunteers of all genders to participate! – is a series of career-day events at The Women’s Leadership Schools that expose sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students to professionals in various fields. Volunteers speak with students about their own college and career paths and engage directly with students in small groups during two periods at the beginning of the school day. In turn, students have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from volunteers.
This opportunity is for full-time employees only, not interns, temps, part-time employees, or consultants. See below for time and location. Please check with your supervisor before committing to be offsite. Registration will close Thursday, April 4th at 6:00pm ET.
Please note your "ticket email" from Eventbrite does not guarantee your participation. We will be in touch with confirmation and further info.
