About the event
Learn how astronomers use computers to create images of our Universe in 2D and 3D formats! You’ll learn basic coding, starting with familiar objects and simple concepts such as shapes and colors, graduating to astronomical objects such as exploding stars and areas around black holes. Following a scaffolded set of activities from coding to 3D modeling to Virtual Reality, and working with real data from NASA orbiting telescopes, you will experience real world applications of science, technology and even art. ALL VOLUNTEERS (TECH AND NON-TECH) NEEDED!
